Walking, and Leaping, and Praising God In His Power
Posted November 26, 2007
We receive frequent inquiries wondering what we are doing at Water of Life. In Acts 3 we are told about a man, who had been lame for more than forty years, that received a miracle of healing. This man sat at the gate of the temple, which is called Beautiful, to ask alms of them that entered into the temple. When Peter and John were about to go into the temple, this man asked alms of them.
In Acts 3:4-7 it says, "And Peter, fastening his eyes upon him with John, said, Look on us. v.4
And he gave heed unto them, expecting to receive something of them. v.5
Then Peter said, Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk. v.6
And he took him by the right hand, and lifted him up: and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength." v.7
In verse 7, we notice that Peter took this man by his right hand and lifted him up, by the power of God: and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength.
In verse 8 the man leaping up stood and walked (by the power of God) and entered with them into the temple walking, and leaping, and praising God.
This is what you see happening at Water of Life Church. The people are walking, and leaping, and praising God. It is just that simple.
God bless you,
