Join Me in Prayer
Posted: November 14, 2012
I Timothy 2
1 I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men;
2 For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty.
3 For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour;
4 Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.
Romans 8
26 Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.
27 And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God.
28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are called according to his purpose.
After the Spirit has made intercession through us according to the will of God, all things work together for good to them that love God. This is the way we pray. We pray for the executive, judicial, as well as the legislative branches of our government.
I believe the Constitution provides for state’s rights. I am asking those that would join me to pray for their individual states; the governor and the state’s administration plus their senators and house representatives of the federal government. If you would like to join me give your state and your name. We will appoint an overseer for each state.
God bless you,
Doyle Davidson
Listed below are people designated to pray in each state. The overseers are designated with a *.
