An Open Letter to David Haynes, Attorney at Law

Posted: November 10, 2008

Dear Mr. Haynes,

Since late 2004, the Dallas Morning News and other members of various media types have quoted you as well as statements by others to criticize me and my ministry. One day those statements were carried in 285 newspapers throughout the world according to a friend of mine that did a search on google. These statements were made because of the wife that God gave me, Lisa, in August 1987, and because Dena Schlosser, who attended this ministry sporadically for a period of three years, used a butcher knife to sever the arms off of her child's body. All of the statements made about me and my ministry were not justified or were unjust.

In II Samuel 23:1-3 it says, "Now these be the last words of David. David the son of Jesse said, and the man who was raised up on high, the anointed of the God of Jacob, and the sweet psalmist of Israel, said, v.1

The Spirit of the Lord spake by me, and his word was in my tongue. v.2

The God of Israel said, the Rock of Israel spake to me, He that ruleth over men must be just, ruling in the fear of God. v.3

I know that you are an officer of the court, and I noticed in an article written by the Dallas Morning News - (2004 PLANO DEATH posted 12:00 AM CST on Saturday, November 8, 2008 by Wendy Hundley/The Dallas Morning news - Tiara M. Ellis contributed to the report), you were quoted as saying, "She's gotten away from a relationship and a church that were bad for her, and she's fought hard to regain her mental equilibrium." That church is obviously a reference to Water of Life Ministries, which you have freely spoken against, as well as me. Such quotations have cost my ministry millions of dollars. It has been clear from the beginning that many individuals and media sources intended to destroy me and my ministry. That was never possible, because all of you were just fighting against God and your attack was against Jesus Christ, who was raised from the dead and not against me. In fact, Jesus said that people that gathered themselves against me would think they were doing God a service to destroy me.

Genesis 18:22-25 says, "....but Abraham stood yet before the Lord v.22

And Abraham drew near, and said, Wilt thou also destroy the righteous with the wicked? v.23

Peradventure there be fifty righteous within the city: wilt thou also destroy and not spare the place for the fifty righteous that are therein? v.24

That be far from thee to do after this manner, to slay the righteous with the wicked: and that the righteous should be as the wicked, that be far from thee: Shall not the Judge of all the earth do right?" v.25

The judge of the whole earth did do right and upheld me, and He has judged some of my enemies and will continue to judge others.

God bless you,

Doyle Davidson
