God Makes Diviners Mad
Posted June 6, 2006
II Timothy 3:16, "All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine (teaching the word), for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:" v.17, "That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works." We should take note, all scripture is given by inspiration of God.
Isaiah 44:24-26 says, "Thus saith the Lord, thy redeemer, and he that formed thee from the womb, I am the Lord that maketh all things; that stretcheth forth the heavens alone; that spreadeth abroad the earth by myself; v.24
That frustrateth (to break or make void) the tokens (a sign) of the liars, and maketh diviners (one who uses divination) mad (to act foolishly); that turneth wise (skillful) men backward, and maketh their knowledge foolish; v.25
That confirmeth (to establish) the word of his servant, and performeth (to complete) the counsel of his messengers; that saith to Jerusalem, Thou shalt be inhabited; and to the cities of Judah, Ye shall be built, and I will raise up the decayed places thereof:" v.26
The Lord continues to make his word true in my life in every promise that is bolded above.
God bless you,
