History of My Ministry

1970 : After being called out from a very successful veterinary practice on January 1, I was led into the wilderness by the Spirit of God to where when finished, I could walk in the power of God. God reestablished my previous practice in May of 1977.
1979 : In March, God spoke these words to me "(Ezekiel 3:5-7) for thou art not sent to a people of a strange speech and of an hard language, but to (America); Not to many people of a strange speech and of an hard language, whose words thou canst not understand. Surely, had I sent thee to them, they would have hearkened unto thee. But (America) will not hearken unto thee; for they will not hearken unto me: for all of (America) are impudent and hardhearted.
1980 : January 1, I entered into public ministry of the Gospel while continuing the practice of veterinary medicine until December 1982 when I stopped practicing medicine altogether.
1981 : The ministry moved into the Plano facility that we currently now occupy in January. In October, I began our radio ministry by going on 1600 AM here in Plano ministering five days a week. Within just six months I was on twenty stations all over the U.S..
1983 : With the inception of Water of Life Christian Training School we began making tapes available. In the ensuing years we gave away several million dollars worth of tapes and albums to the U.S., Africa and many other nations free of charge. An excess of 200,000 tapes and albums went to Africa alone.
1984 : In April I began teaching on live television Saturday evenings on Channel 49, Dallas/Fort Worth.
1985 : On January 1, Patty, Terry, Kathy and I traveled to Zimbabwe and spent fifteen days ministering the Gospel. Water of Life Ministries donated over $500,000 to Africa, which converted to $6,500,000 Zimbabwe dollars.
1986 : In June I went from a live television broadcast at 8:00 PM on Saturdays to taping a recorded program for Sunday mornings at 8:00AM. During the month of August God told me to begin giving one half of the ministry's money away. When I shared this with Terry Mai he showed me Luke 19:8; And Zacchaeus stood, and said unto the Lord: Behold, Lord, the half of my goods I give to the poor. . I laughed and told him "This is easy for you to say Terry!" Terry was an affable person, he responded as he often did, with a big smile, a little laugh and then walked out of the office. That meant that our television program which had just gone from $500 to $2000 a program now doubled to $4000 so as to give half away. We finished that year "in the black". The ministry was completely out of debt and has remained that way since.
1987 : We started the Mission in McKinney in the spring of this year. For the next ten years we purchased more than $750,000 from local food chains and gave it away.
1990 : Wally Edge and Randy Brooks transcribed several of my tapes into five books: Jesus Did the Father's Will, He Rose Again, God's Plan of Reconciliation, Jesus On the Cross, and The Gospel is Always a Blessing. 50,000 books were published. They were offered free of charge. This set of five books was mailed to 37 major ministries in the United States and 30 local ministries in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. 3,500 books were sent to Africa and given away.
1992 : God spoke these words to me in January, "The things I have promised you I will bring to pass in this season." Shortly after, on February 2, my television ministry expanded nationwide. We began broadcasting on 25 television stations, coast to coast. We also began broadcasting on all of LeSea's short-wave radio stations. These radio broadcasts covered a large majority of the world's population. We continued with LaSea until early in 2000 when I was removed from their TV and short-wave stations.
1993 : We began driving and flying commercial to the different parts of the country holding meetings in hotels. God directed us to travel to Joplin, Tulsa, Houston, South Bend, Anaheim, and Indianapolis. Most of those locations have developed into Water of Life Churches.
1994 : In November twelve apostles went on radio KPPC 770, Dallas and remained until 1997. They each had go their own radio slot airing on Saturdays and Sundays. The apostles were Terry Mai, Ralph Edge, "Baptist Bob" Buckner, Basil Clark, Jack "the Frenchman" Turquette, John Ferguson, Steve Brown, Donnie Cauthorn, Wally Edge, Randy Brooks, JR Staton, and Dwyane Jackson.
1996 : June was the last time we passed the plate in our services. We placed a box at the rear of the sanctuary for people to give their offerings. Just one month later, God directed me to beginning flying charter out of Collin County Regional Airport to the areas we were traveling to. Since that time we have flown over 400 charter flights all across this country. God never failed to supply.
2000 : I began ministering on Fox 23 in Tulsa, 9:00 -10:00 AM five days a week in May. We began producing five one hour and five half-hour programs for the individual stations. I was on Fox, CBS, an ABC affiliate, Warner Brothers and others. We moved to the secular stations because some of the stations, like Pax Communication were removing us for our content. The television bill was over 2 million dollars a year, which was in excess of $40,000 a week. A check accompanied every tape.
2001 : Beginning in July the twelve apostles appeared on their own 30 minute television programs on Channel 55, Dallas/Fort worth. Along with this, Kathy Mai was a regular on Terry Mai's program and hosted her own thirty minute broadcast. Debbie Edge appeared as a regular on Ralph Edge's show and also hosted her own thirty minute broadcast. Later, Lisa appeared as a regular on my program and also hosted her own thirty minute program. In addition, Terry and Kathy Mai regularly appeared on my program as worship leaders. I believed God and this ministry paid for every radio and television program.
2002 : The apostles teamed up and went to various Dallas/Fort Worth locations holding meetings in hotels.
2003 : During the month of July the Lord directed me to fly to the mainland states in America and pray. Myself, and the ones that traveled with me completed praying for all 48 states in the month of June 2004. God supplied over $400,000 to fly private charter to all the states.
2007 : We began broadcasting all of our services live on the Internet in January.
During all these years I never told anyone my needs for money, God always supplied. I personally have given over $650,000 in cash and property, myself paying the taxes.
Thirty years I have been a faithful servant. But what God spoke to me in 1979 has surely come to pass, America will not hear. There are but a few with me, worshipping and praising God seven days a week for ten hours, worldwide. God have mercy on America.
