A Miracle on the Bike Trail
Posted June 4, 2008
I awoke this morning just a few minutes past 7:00 AM. I started thinking about various things, and I could see my heart was troubled. I thought why did Lisa run away. I soon pushed that off and began thinking about my ministry and when certain miracles would occur: Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse the lepers, and cast out devils. I knew I had seen many miracles and healings but not the number I expect to see. I soon settled my heart down and continued to pray.
This afternoon as I was on the bike trail I saw two young boys each with an unruly dog on a leash. A biker swerved to miss them and fell to the trail. He was slammed down on his side, with his head (helmet on) hitting with a loud noise. I was no more than 20 to 30 feet from him when he hit. I got off of my bike, and I could see there was no movement and no breathing visible. I started to pray, "Lord, return life to this man." I prayed that two times. There was nothing else to pray. In a few minutes, he put his fist on his chest and began to groan. This lasted for a minute or so and he turned onto his back, opened his eyes and said to me, "What happened?" I explained what I had observed. After the second time, the EMT people were there and after I made sure every thing was in their hand I asked if I was needed any more. I was told no and thanked. I left and went back to my house to eat my dinner. I am convinced God raised that man from the dead. Thank God.
God bless you,
