Witchcraft Is Your Enemy

God sent Elijah to bring judgment upon Ahab, Jezebel, and all of her false prophets. In I Kings 18, we see that Jezebel had cut off the prophets of the Lord, and Obadiah had hid one hundred prophets of the Lord in caves and fed them with bread and water. (I Kings 18:4)
Elijah appeared to the people and he said as it is stated in I Kings 18:21-22, "And Elijah came unto all the people, and said, How long halt ye between two opinions? if the Lord be God, follow him: but if Baal, then follow him. And the people answered him not a word. v.21
Then said Elijah unto the people, I, even I only, remain a prophet of the Lord; but Baal's prophets are four hundred and fifty men." v.22
This was the beginning of Elijah the prophet of God confronting Ahab, Jezebel, and all of her false prophets. In verse 40, we see God's judgment on the false prophets. "And Elijah said unto them, Take the prophets of Baal; let not one of them escape. And they took them: and Elijah brought them down to the brook Kishon, and slew them there."
In II Kings 9, Elisha had been anointed by God to replace Elijah, and his anointing continued to deal with Ahab, Jezebel, and Ahab's family. II Kings 9:1-10 says, "And Elisha the prophet called one of the children of the prophets, and said unto him, Gird up thy loins, and take this box of oil in thine hand, and go to Ramothgilead: v.1
And when thou comest thither, look out there Jehu the son of Jehoshaphat the son of Nimshi, and go in, and make him arise up from among his brethren, and carry him to an inner chamber; v.2
Then take the box of oil, and pour it on his head, and say, Thus saith the Lord, I have anointed thee king over Israel. Then open the door, and flee, and tarry not. v.3
So the young man, even the young man the prophet, went to Ramothgilead. v.4
And when he came, behold, the captains of the host were sitting; and he said, I have an errand to thee, O captain. And Jehu said, Unto which of all us? And he said, To thee, O captain. v.5
And he arose, and went into the house; and he poured the oil on his head, and said unto him, Thus saith the Lord God of Israel, I have anointed thee king over the people of the Lord, even over Israel. v.6
And thou shalt smite the house of Ahab thy master, that I may avenge the blood of my servants the prophets, and the blood of all the servants of the Lord, at the hand of Jezebel. v.7
For the whole house of Ahab shall perish: and I will cut off from Ahab him that pisseth against the wall, and him that is shut up and left in Israel: v.8
And I will make the house of Ahab like the house of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, and like the house of Baasha the son of Ahijah: v.9
And the dogs shall eat Jezebel in the portion of Jezreel, and there shall be none to bury her. And he opened the door, and fled." v:10
We see in verse 22 of II Kings 9, Joram, the son of Ahab, met Jehu, the anointed king of Israel, and he asked the question, "Is it peace, Jehu? And he answered, What peace, so long as the whoredoms of thy mother Jezebel and her witchcrafts are so many?"
In July 2003, God directed me and a team of people with me, to fly to various locations of the United States and pray. We visited all 48 states of the mainland in a period of eleven and a half months. During that prayer time, I spent much of my time binding witchcraft and the Jezebel spirit, which is a spirit of witchcraft. I also encountered political, religious, and financial spirits in some states and I bound them.
One of the most intense days battling witchcraft occurred on August 8, 2003, when God directed me to drive around Dallas to pray with my team. We drove around Dallas for a period of about three hours binding witchcraft and the Jezebel.
Looking back, I can see that God had directed us to pray throughout America to accomplish his purposes against false prophets, walking in witchcraft.
As we continued to bind witchcraft and the Jezebel throughout America, the attack increased.
In April 2004, Jezebel's attack became more persistant on the ministry. I count it joy to have received such an attack. It is the honor of God upon my life. We see in II Corinthians 12:9 that God's strength is made perfect in weakness. I can certainly attest to that.
After Elijah, by the anointing of God, exposed and challenged Jezebel and her false prophets, Jezebel threatened to take Elijah's life. I Kings 19:2, "Then Jezebel sent a messenger unto Elijah, saying, So let the gods do to me, and more also, if I make not thy life as the life of one of them by to morrow about this time."
We see this same attack upon the Lord Jesus when he entered Nazareth, as it was his custom and stood up for to read. He read the following verses of scripture in Luke 4:18-28, "The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, v.18
To preach the acceptable year of the Lord. v.19
And he closed the book, and he gave it again to the minister, and sat down. And the eyes of all them that were in the synagogue were fastened on him. v.20
And he began to say unto them, This day is this scripture fulfilled in your ears. v.21
And all bare him witness, and wondered at the gracious words which proceeded out of his mouth. And they said, Is not this Joseph's son? v.22
And he said unto them, Ye will surely say unto me this proverb, Physician, heal thyself: whatsoever we have heard done in Capernaum, do also here in thy country. v.23
And he said, Verily I say unto you, No prophet is accepted in his own country. v.24
But I tell you of a truth, many widows were in Israel in the days of Elias, when the heaven was shut up three years and six months, when great famine was throughout all the land; v.25
But unto none of them was Elias sent, save unto Sarepta, a city of Sidon, unto a woman that was a widow. v.26
And many lepers were in Israel in the time of Eliseus the prophet; and none of them was cleansed, saving Naaman the Syrian. v.27
And all they in the synagogue, when they heard these things, were filled with wrath, v.28
And rose up, and thrust him out of the city, and led him unto the brow of the hill whereon their city was built, that they might cast him down headlong. v.29
But he passing through the midst of them went his way," v.30
Summarizing the events of Elijah's life and the Lord Jesus' life, and seeing that their attacks came because of the anointing of God and the truth, helps me to accept the attack on my life. Even this very day, I continue to overcome the Jezebel spirit.
God bless you,
